Abstract

This work aims to identify the relationship between marketing strategies of exporting Taquari Valley firms with the export performance and export market orientation. To achieve the goal sought proposed is the development of theoretical benchmark, made up items strategies for international marketing, export performance and export market orientation. In epistemological level was conducted a survey, applying for a questionnaire to a sample of 25 exporting companies that have industrial activities, chosen in a not probabilistic manner. Finally, it was observed that the key decisions on how to act in various markets in terms of strategies for international marketing - satisfaction with the internal market, international consistency, adaptation and localization level of the strategies - have relationship with the export market orientation and the export performance of studied companies.
