The names and addresses provided in this journal are used exclusively for the services offered by this publication. This data is not intentionally made available for other purposes or to third parties, except for indexing in databases and directories, by the Copyright Statement.

 

Consent to Data Processing

 

I authorize INTERNEXT, as data controller, to process my data for the following purposes:

  • Collect, use, access, transmit, anonymize, process, archive, store, delete and evaluate.

Data Collected by INTERNEXT

 

The following data may be collected and stored:

  • Mandatory for Registration: First name, Last name, Email, ORCID iD.
  • Optional data: Title, Middle name, URL, Telephone, Fax, Gender, Postal address, Institution/Affiliation, Country, Signature, Biography Summary.

 

Definition of Data Processing Types

  • Collect: The author voluntarily provides his/her data during registration. No sensitive data is collected.
  • Use: Some data, such as name, institution, and email (if authorized), are included in the articles that are formatted and published.
  • Use of Email: This is used for communications about the editorial flow, reviews, calls for publications, and changes to the guidelines.
  • Access: The data is accessed to edit and update the metadata before publication, ensuring integrity with DOI, ORCID iD, and Lattes CV.
  • Transmit: To ensure digital preservation, the data is transmitted to the LOCKSS System and the Cariniana Network and indexed in repositories via the Open Archives Initiative (OAI).
  • Anonymize: To ensure double-blind evaluation, authorship information is removed from the documents before sending them to the evaluators. • Process: Submission data is processed in an XML file and sent to Crossref to generate a DOI and ensure a persistent link to the article.
  • Archive: Registration and submission data (accepted or rejected) are stored in the journal's database and preserved in digital archiving systems.
  • Store: Data on registered users and submitted articles, even those whose deletion was requested, remain stored in the journal's database.
  • Delete: Registration data is not permanently deleted, but the Plagiarism Policy may block access to it in cases of plagiarism/self-plagiarism. At any time, the user may request the deletion of their registration and stop receiving communications.
  • Evaluate: Submissions are reviewed to ensure the metadata is correct and compatible with DOI, ORCID iD, and indexing.

Requests related to data can be made by email: INTERNEXT@espm.br. Examples of requests include:

  • Correction of name, email, or institutional affiliation;
  • Updating of title and personal information;
  • Changing city or country.

 

Registration in the Journal

Registration in the journal is free, personal, and non-transferable. The Editorial Team is not authorized to register users, except for reviewers, after they accept an invitation. Passwords are also personal and non-transferable.

 

Sensitive Data and Information Collection

Data collection is carried out using good practices and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) principles. No sensitive data is collected.

 

Use of Images in Articles

To ensure respect for the copyright of images, photographs, tables, and figures, the journal evaluates the source informed by the authors. If proper authorization is not obtained, the material will not be published.

 

User Consent

By using the journal's services and submitting articles, authors agree to allow the journal to use their data as described in this Privacy and Free and Informed Consent Term.

Future changes to this term may occur by the LGPD and will be duly communicated.

In compliance with Law No. 13.709/18—General Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD), INTERNEXT establishes its Privacy Policy to transparently inform the use of personal data in the publication of articles.
